When you work in Denmark you have the right to:
- paid holiday
- maternity leave
- sick days
- breaks during the work day
- the right not to work more than 48 hours a week including over time (measured as an average over a 4 months' period)
As a member of a trade union you also have the right to work with a minimum salary and many other benefits. The trade union also serves as a lawyer if the salary and working conditions do not follow the Danish standards.
