Sunday, April 7, 45 Lithuanian workers from several different industries participated in an open information meeting on the Danish labor market.
The Lithuanian Nijole Franck from 3FTransport, Logistik & Byg in Aarhus, explained for four rigid hours, with 45 very attentive and inquiring "students".
The meeting was organized by a group of Lithuanian BJMF members, wishing to start a Lithuanian club in BJMF.
There are only about 20 Lithuanian members in BJMF, so the group quickly agreed that it was necessary to recruit more Lithuanian members, if it were to be possible to make a Lithuanian club in the union.
Everything went according to plan and the initiative group found 5-6 new members and activists for the Lithuanian club, on the open meeting.
The next step will be to hold a founding general assembly, perhaps in May.
