Companies that respect international agreements and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals not only benefit their customers, but also their employees and the environment. Sustainable production helps increasing the competitiveness of companies and thus fosters the creation of sustained employment.
Businesses' responsibility covers both respect for human rights and issues such as ethical trade, green technology, anti-corruption, and decent jobs.
The Confederation of Danish Industry, 3F, and the Danish Trade Union Development Agency help build the capacity of both employers, trade unions and business organizations to comply with international standards and CSR guidelines, as well as measure the efforts.
CSR policies and results can be part of the social dialogue at company, organizational and government level.
